Human Trafficking Training in Raleigh

Dana Vaughn-Mgunda, Human Trafficking Training Coordinator for North Carolina, will be leading “Human Trafficking 101: NC & Beyond,” in Raleigh on September 8, from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. This three-hour session, hosted by Triangle-based abolitionist group Jubilee, will be geared toward helping participants understand human trafficking on both a local and global level, and what they can do about it.

This event is open to the community and free of charge; however, you must register beforehand.

CLEARWATER – Nearly two years ago, the U.S. Department of Justice awarded the Clearwater Police Department a grant to establish the Clearwater Area Task Force on Human Trafficking.

The task force is so successful that it has become a model for law enforcement agencies nationwide.
