  1. I live in Charlotte NC and want to help in some way with child trafficking. I am not sure how to go about this. If you can help me in any way, I would really appreciate it. Thank you and have a blessed day!

  2. I am 15 years old and live in Greensboro, NC. The issue of human trafficking has caught my attention and i feel very strongly that i need to do something to help this cause. Since i am so young I’m not sure exactly how I can help. If anyone could please give me any information on how i would be able to help I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

    • Hi Maddie, do you still want to help? I am Service Director for NC Christian Churches and will be working to hold awareness and education events all over the state of NC this summer (late June – July) Would you be interested in helping with one of the events in your area? You can email me directly at katherinehughes00@gmail.com and we can talk! It would be amazing to have someone your age helping with these awareness events. Thanks!

  3. How can I help? I live in northeastern NC.

  4. One way to help is to get educated (Google) and TALK ABOUT IT W/PEOPLE YOU KNOW. At the very least, they’ll know how YOU feel about these horrific and exploitative crimes.

Do the farmers check to see if the workers brought to them are going back to safe conditions at the end of the day?

Is that new housemaid your neighbor hired and is bragging about not having to pay very much money to, really a woman forced into servitude?

Do the minorities in your neighborhood, especially those with English as a second language, act afraid to speak or look for work somewhere else? Maybe they can’t!!

If you see something, SAY something…

  5. I live in Apex and want to know how I can get involved. Can high schoolers get involved with this organization? I want to help these people so badly.

  6. I live in Asheville and attend Warren Wilson College. I work on the Service Crew at WWC, in the Race and Immigration issue area and always try to raise awareness about human trafficking. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help stop this heinous crime!
