Have a lot of stuff at the end of the school year? Can’t take it all with you? Join Carolina Against Slavery and Trafficking in our campus-wide clothing drive!
We are collecting essential items for children that have been rescued from sex trafficking here in North Carolina. These girls, ages 12-17, will be receiving safe housing and counseling with a shelter in Durham through Transforming Hope Ministries.
We are accepting donations of gently used women’s and girls’ clothing and shoes, as well as gently used kitchen items and beauty supplies.
Drop off your donations in the designated drop-off box in the Student Union next to Alpine, and in boxes in the lobbies of Parker, Ehringhaus, Morrison, Manly, Aycock, and Cobb. There will also be a box in the lobby of The Newman Center (218 Pittsboro Street).
