Job Title: Rural SART Coordinator
Reports to: Executive Director
Coordinate SART training conferences.
Plan and conduct workshops for local communities in the development of SART programs.
Organize and develop statewide SART training session. Training to include: district attorneys, police, rape crisis counselors,
health administrators and other medical personnel that compose the SART.
Collaborate with other statewide agencies to initiate and train SART’s including, universities, AHEC, county health departments, nursing programs, and theInstitute ofGovernment.
Develop and maintain a database of statewide speakers and trainers for SART programs.
Develop and maintain a database of SART programs across the state.
Organize SART advisory committees.
Work with rape crisis centers to evaluate local SART programs.
Coordinate statewide SART summit to evaluate progress of SART programs and allow for sharing of information.
Develop materials for training manuals.
Coordinate and facilitate Law Enforcement Training.
Develop publicity material for SART programs.
Bachelor’s degree/Masters preferred in related field.
Must be able to work collaboratively with many aspects of the local and statewide community, particularly the medical and law enforcement community.
Must have excellent organizational and communication skills.
Willing to travel across the state for trainings and SART planning evaluations.
