Cindy Finley is a writer, speaker, pastor’s wife and mother of seven children. In the process of adopting their youngest daughter, Katya, from Ukraine, Cindy and her husband, Bill, were awakened to the worldwide problem of human trafficking, particularly as it relates to orphans. Once back in the U.S., they learned that trafficking is not only a problem in the international community, but also right in our backyard. Cindy works to raise awareness of the issue and inspire action by writing at www.cindyfinley.com. Currently, she is standing with FAIR Girls, GEMS, Polaris Project, and Rebecca Project for Human Rights to shut down the adult section of Backpage.com which is linked to 80% of domestic human trafficking cases. Additionally, Cindy serves on the Advisory Board for Innocents at Risk with its innovative airline initiative which trains flight attendants to recognize victims of human trafficking and enable them to get the help they need.
Be in your seat at 1:30 for the opportunity to win a copy of Corban Addison’s book, A Walk Across the Sun, a redemptive novel which painfully and beautifully brings texture to the reality of human trafficking.
